「Cool-headed King of Shorting」 entered a new MON short position, earlier this morning closed a long position on BTC and SOL before reversing to open a short position
BlockBeats News, December 1st, according to Coinbob Popular Address Monitor, in the past half an hour, the "Calm Whale" increased its BTC short position, opened a new MON short position, with the current BTC short position size of about $2 million, unrealized gain of $20,000 (45%). From last night to early this morning, the address completely closed its BTC and SOL long positions, making a small profit of $30,000, and then reversed to open short positions at around $91,400 for BTC and around $138 for SOL. The current short positions have partially closed with a profit of about $58,000.
According to monitoring, the address has once again been depositing about $200,000 into Hyperliquid since the 27th, with its total position size now around $2 million and account funding about $380,000. The current main positions held are: 40x $2 million BTC short and 5x $490,000 MON short.
Previously, the "Calm Whale" account's unrealized gains once approached $10 million but were not closed, and then it experienced five rounds of large liquidations, resulting in an actual loss of over $18 million. This trader, with a starting capital of $3 million since September, once made a profit of over $30 million within two months due to several accurate predictions and gained a lot of attention. However, recent repeated mistakes have led to giving back more than half of the total profits.
