Animoca co-founder Yat Siu: Asia will be the first to achieve deep integration of AI and blockchain
According to a report by Fortune, Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands, stated during an interview at the SuperAI Summit in Singapore that Asia will lead in the innovative integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain technology, ahead of the West. He pointed out that the crypto communities in Europe and America often tend to separate cryptocurrencies from AI, while the Asian market is more accepting of the combination of these two digital assets and technologies.
Siu emphasized that AI and blockchain are closely connected at a fundamental level. To truly empower AI, it must be given access to funds so that it can conduct secure autonomous transactions on behalf of users, and blockchain is the infrastructure that can achieve this goal on a large scale. He predicts that in the future, there could be as many as 200 billion AI agents put into operation, and these agents will naturally tend to choose on-chain transactions that are faster and much cheaper for commercial interactions, rather than relying on traditional credit card payment networks that charge higher fees.
